The Wildflower
I began writing after the birth of my son, when I was navigating postpartum depression and anxiety.
At first, I shared blog posts about my journey into motherhood. My writing evolved into poetry—a place where I could reflect on the identity shifts, relationship changes, grief, and unexpected realities of a motherhood journey that didn't unfold the way I had imagined.
What I thought would be lattes and stroller walks became hospitals and hard truths. I often felt alone and misunderstood.
I began using imagery to give shape to experiences that felt difficult to put into words.
Now, I write a mix of poetry and reflections.
My hope is that, by sharing them, someone else might feel a little less alone on their own journey.
My poems, writings and reflections are a combination of several life influences of and experiences that have molded me into who I am today and what I have learned so far.
